Based in the United States, Dr. Chen is a partner and portfolio manager at Zebra Capital Management, an asset management firm headquartered in Melfort, Connecticut. Dr. Chen is also a tenured Professor of Finance at Yale University and is known for his research on stock valuation, equity and options investment strategies, options pricing, and fixed-income securities valuation and strategies. Prior to joining Yale, Dr. Chen was an Associate Professor of Finance at The Ohio State University and Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. From 1997 through mid-2004, Dr. Chen was a co-founder and co-chairman of ValuEngine Inc., a company that develops quantitative asset appraisal tools and provides investment consulting services.
